The Impact of COVID-19 on Nevada’s Outdoor Recreation Economy
NVOBC and Get Outdoors Nevada partnered with Denver-based BBC Research to determine how the pandemic affected Nevada’s outdoor recreation economy. The resulting study contains social and economic data on outdoor businesses and public land visitation, and how patterns of use and economic activity have changed since the pandemic began. Including 16 in-depth interviews with local businesses, the study offers recommendations for leaders and legislatures on how to support Nevada’soutdoor businesses and our public lands.
